Cem Vedat Isik, Electrical and Electronics Engineer with MSc and MBA Degrees, started his career as an Open Source Software Projects Manager and is currently Technical Account Manager at Intel, where he develops Internet of Things (IoT) related business opportunities. Before joining Intel, he was System Development and Demand Management Manager at Millenicom, where he managed a department of Business Analysts and Project Managers. He served as a Project Manager at Avea between 2009 and 2013 directing and managing project activities from project inception to final implementation and acting as a liaison between the Business and IT departments to ensure business needs are met with technology solutions. He was a Senior Consultant at Bitbrains IT Services in Amstelveen, Netherlands between 2008 and 2009 and provided IT infrastructure consulting to large corporations in various sectors and supervised daily IT operations. Between 2005 and 2008, he was a Telecommunication Systems Design Engineer at Karel, where his team was awarded as finalist in Turkish Technology Award, Grand Prize. He was responsible for design and implementation of Media Gateways, VoIP applications and PBX solutions. Cem also worked as a Project Delivery Manager between 2003 and 2005 at Portakal Teknoloji, managing open source migration projects in public sector and delivery of related training.
In his spare time, he enjoys food photography. His photographs were published in leading US and European magazines and major Turkish newspapers.
